There are some things that need to be clarified before you go any further.

First, it is absolutely illegal to use any techniques learned or tools presented in this material on any network you do not have the explicit written permission to do so. You assume all responsibility for any actions you take. You have been warned.

Second, this is NOT a certification course. The purpose of this site and materials is to help the beginner penetration student learn the basics before attempting a certification path, career move, etc. We will learn a lot of material, however, we start slow.

Third, have fun! I really enjoy the challenge and creativity involved in penetration testing. Hacking one web server doesn’t mean that same method will work next time. That is the fun part. There are so many tools to perform the same functions, so experiment and find the tools you like.

Also, I plan to provide videos of tools in action, and PDF downloads of each section for off-line review and use.
